I just had to have one of these and why not? It had a 1/2 mile range and dogs would respond as if by magic. I'd seen enough cartoons to know that there was probably something to it so I saved up and bought one.

Well, 1) they aren't silent and 2) every dog in town will not come running to you and 3) I got ripped off again.

Damn it anyway.

You can buy these in pet shops and such so maybe they do work but I tried for weeks and not a single dog so much as turned its head.
