| No girls allowed! I loved these ads because I knew that if worst came to worst, I could be a paperboy for Grit and then I would be happy and prosperous. I sort of wanted that sleeping bag too. Earlier Grit ads made it clear that they only wanted boys but in fairness to them, that changed later on. Grit is still being published by the way but now it is a magazine. |
