I
figured that if kids that looked this goofy could sell seeds
then so could I. Not a chance! My mom bought some and then I
was stuck with the rest.
I remember going
door-to-door and getting looks that said "Hey kid, don't
be stupid" so I sort of got the message that I sucked as
a seed salesman. I was a seasoned door-to-door salesman by then
so I knew that my technique was okay, it was just that the product
wasn't right. It could have been the price or the packaging
or the time of year but in any event I couldn't give these things
away.
