Spalding Presents Street Ball

I was pretty much hopeless at all sports but when you are a little kid you are too dumb to know it. So because of that, I thought I could play basketball.

These ads drilled it into my head over and over and over again that I needed to use a Spalding ball so that is what I got. I had only a vague idea who Dr. J was and even less of an idea who Rick Barry was but I knew they were basketball dudes and that was good enough for me.

So even though I sucked at basketball, at least I had the right kind of basketball.
