See through walls!

According to the ad, this thing could see through walls and ceilings and if that wasn't enough it could double as a telescope. I have my doubts but a guy I met at a flea market had one and said it was great. Apparently, and I can't verify this, but apparently it was able to drill tiny holes and then you'd shove something through the hole so you could see. I'm not sure too many parents would have approved of that.
